JCTC Breaks Ground on $24 million Tech Center

The construction of the AMIT Center and the renovated technical campus will allow manufacturing-related programs to move out of the technical campus to the new center. And this will allow JCTC to expand its automotive technology programming.

The AMIT Center will house advanced manufacturing, applied process technology, aviation maintenance, computer and information technology, computer manufacturing, engineering electronics technology, industrial maintenance and welding programs, according to the release.

JCTC estimates that about 3,000 students will use the new facility annually.

The AMIT Center is slated to open in fall 2020.
