Friday, August 12, marked the groundbreaking ceremony for Scott County High School’s new school. The new school will be built on roughly 80 acres of land located on the bypass between Long Lick Pike and US 25. The three-story school will have the capacity for 1,500 students and is planned to be complete in 2024.
In order to serve all students, the new high school is bringing a heightened awareness to having both college-ready and vocational school pathways. SCHS will have numerous CTE offerings that focus on business, agriculture, family, and consumer science for vocational students.
