Morrison Hall Renovation
STW served as a technical consultant and MEP engineer for the renovation of the 26,740 sq. ft. Morrison Hall on Asbury University’s campus. The building was originally constructed in 1923 to provide housing and classrooms for male theology students. Morrison Hall is currently used exclusively for classrooms and faculty offices.
STW worked with the University’s budget and timeline to develop and execute a three-part plan for a full building renovation. In the winter of 2013, STW produced an energy model for comparison of three system considerations – geothermal, boiler/tower, or VRF. This informed the owner’s decision to go with a VRF system. STW further worked with the owner to determine a preferred manufacturer in consideration of Asbury’s existing partnerships.
