Located in an expanded and renovated Gristmill House, the center served as the launch point for the distillery tours. The facility included a waiting area for visitors for shuttle bus service, ticketing operations, information area for regional offerings, a retail component and employee areas.
All of the lighting was LED, and was controlled by a digital, networked lighting controls system with dimming capability. There was high-end, decorative lighting, as well as display and art work lighting in the public spaces, with more utilitarian lighting fixtures in office, staff and mechanical spaces.
The patio decks and bars had LED lights concealed underneath the railings / handrails and in the steps, as well as on the columns. The low-voltage systems consisted of a data/voice network with a dedicated data wiring closet in the basement. There was also a digital, addressable fire alarm system, CCTV security camera system, and an intrusion detection system. Electrical connections were provided for the new HVAC systems, electric hand dryers in the restrooms, kitchen and bar equipment, POS cash register and tour ticketing systems, and TV / sound systems.
