This new facility consists of six classrooms, an open office area, administrative area, locker room area, vehicle maintenance bay, multipurpose room, training device simulation room, heated storage unit space, fitness room, vaults, and a commercial kitchen.
STW was responsible for designing all plumbing, fire protection, mechanical and electrical systems for the project. HVAC systems include 2-stage geothermal water source heat pumps, variable speed pumping energy recovery units, electric unit heaters, and a DDC energy management system. Key electrical systems included switchboards and panelboards, general building lighting, emergency and egress lighting, general power and technology power wiring, power distribution to building equipment, fire alarm, intercom, time control, public address systems, and telecommunication/network wiring and raceway systems.
