The Rupp Arena Locker Room project consisted of the construction of a new 5,000 sq. ft. mezzanine and the renovation of approximately 20,000 sq. ft. of existing support space under the lower level arena seating.
The project included state-of-the-art locker room facilities for the UK men’s basketball team located in the home of the Kentucky Wildcats: Rupp Arena. Locker rooms incorporated new color-changing LED lighting to showcase player lockers and uniforms, as well as pieces of the basketball court from the 2012 NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship. A dining hall, theatre-style meeting room, coaches’ offices and even hot/cold therapy tubs and individual shower facilities were included in the renovation project.
