The construction of the AMIT Center and the renovated technical campus will allow manufacturing-related programs to move out of the technical campus to the new center. This project will also allow JCTC to expand its automotive technology programming.

Since 2012, Shrout Tate Wilson employees have served as literacy coaches for students at Williams Wells Brown Elementary School. WWB is one of the lowest performing schools in the state. As our neighbor to our Lexington office, STW wanted to help.

The public-private partnership between Aramark Educational Services and Eastern Kentucky University opened the new Case Dining Facility in the heart of campus. More important than the excitement around the facility is the community that now exists in the heart of campus.

The Moore, Memorial, & Roark buildings are more than 200,000 SF of EKU’s campus footprint. Currently occupied by the Department of Biological Sciences, Geography, and Geology, these three science buildings will be improved to provide space for the College of Letters Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS). STW was selected directly by EKU out of the four shortlisted MEP firms to help re-imagine these buildings. We couldn’t be more excited, honored, and proud to help EKU!

Breaking ground this spring! New details were released by Business Lexington on the major revitalization project for Lexington’s East End neighborhood. Ewing Elementary becomes the 288th Kentucky School to become ENERGY STAR certified as reported in this article by The Lane Report. The new school building was completed in the fall of 2013 and designed as an ENERGY STAR compliant facility to reduce the building’s carbon footprint and lower energy costs.
