STW has been a part of several projects taking place in this development including the RD-1 distillery, Goodwood brewing, and Sherman Carter Barnhart Architect's new office.

STW Projects Receive AIA Awards

STW is proud to announce that two of our projects received awards at the 2023 AIA Kentucky Design Awards Ceremony. The Jefferson Community & Technical College Advanced Manufacturing & Information Technology Center received an AIA Honor Award while the Bullitt County Public Library, Central Library received an AIA Award of Merit.

Painters Row Coming to Louisville Neighborhood

The former masonry and timber warehouses on Lytle Street in the Portland neighborhood of Louisville will soon be transformed into a $17.5 million multi-use development. Called Painters Row, this 45,750 SF renovation will include new offices, retail spaces, restaurants, and +71 apartment units.

Oldham County Library Goshen Branch Breaks Ground

Friday, April 28, 2023 marked the day of the groundbreaking celebration for the new Oldham County Goshen Branch Library. The facility will feature a larger book collection, more technology, outdoor events, larger meeting rooms, and larger study areas. The new library is expected to open by next year.

STW Awarded Kentucky Trails Project

Shrout Tate Wilson was recently awarded the Kentucky Trails project at the Louisville Zoo. This project will be located on 20 undeveloped acres near the Zoo’s Glacier Run and Snow Leopard Pass. The project is currently expected to cost $30 million and be open to the public by 2025.

Bullitt County Library Receives “Award of Merit”

The new 45,000 square foot Bullitt County Library has officially opened to the public September 17, 2022. The project has received an “Award of Merit” from the Kentucky Chapter of the Associated Builder and Contractors for its design.

The Lexington Public Library celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony of their new Marksbury Branch August 16, 2022. Formerly known as the Village Branch, this $17 million new library will be nearly triple the size of it’s former facility.

Groundbreaking for New Scott County High School

Friday, August 12, marked the groundbreaking ceremony for Scott County High School’s new school. The new school will be built on roughly 80 acres of land located on the bypass between Long Lick Pike and US 25. The three-story school will have the capacity for 1,500 students and is planned to be complete in 2024.

Renovation Underway at Silver Creek High School

The groundbreaking ceremony for Silver Creek High School took place last Friday, August 12. The $100 million project will include extensive renovations including new classrooms, new laboratories, a new student union, a new main entrance, an expanded cafeteria and a new auditorium.
