Renovating a National Historic Landmark

In late October we celebrated the groundbreaking of the Crystal Beach Pool House Renovation. As a National Historic Landmark, the pool house holds a plethora of captivating history. STW is proud to provide MEP Engineering services to rehabilitate National Historic Landmarks!

Woodford Reserve Opens New Welcome Center

Woodford Reserve Distillery opened its new Welcome Center in Versailles, Ky., on June 12, 2019. The new building is intended to begin the distillery tour for new visitors, and is described as a modern take on a traditional bluegrass farmhouse. The new welcome center has a main hall with seating, a ticketing area for tourists, a bar and outdoor entertaining spaces. The artwork in the main hall are all originals by mostly Kentucky artists depicting Kentucky landscapes. Bourbon Comes Home to Louisville

Bourbon is making a huge comeback in the commonwealth’s largest city, where it formerly had a strong presence. Louisville became a hub for bourbon distilling activity and distribution, and until the 1920s, as many as 50 distilleries were located on a portion of Main Street dubbed “Whiskey Row.” Kentucky’s native spirit played a huge role in Louisville’s early days, and is a well-known part of Kentucky’s history. Bringing Bourbon to Main Street

The public-private partnership between Aramark Educational Services and Eastern Kentucky University opened the new Case Dining Facility in the heart of campus. More important than the excitement around the facility is the community that now exists in the heart of campus.
