Shrout Tate Wilson was recently awarded the Kentucky Trails project at the Louisville Zoo. This project will be located on 20 undeveloped acres near the Zoo’s Glacier Run and Snow Leopard Pass. The project is currently expected to cost $30 million and be open to the public by 2025.
The Waterfront Botanical Gardens Ellen T. Leslie Botanical Classrooms project has received the 2022 AIA Kentucky Honor Award. This project is one of nine that were recognized for excellence in architectural design. The project won under the New Construction: Less Than $5M category.
The new 45,000 square foot Bullitt County Library has officially opened to the public September 17, 2022. The project has received an “Award of Merit” from the Kentucky Chapter of the Associated Builder and Contractors for its design.
Friday, August 12, marked the groundbreaking ceremony for Scott County High School’s new school. The new school will be built on roughly 80 acres of land located on the bypass between Long Lick Pike and US 25. The three-story school will have the capacity for 1,500 students and is planned to be complete in 2024.
The Lexington Public Library celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony of their new Marksbury Branch August 16, 2022. Formerly known as the Village Branch, this $17 million new library will be nearly triple the size of it’s former facility.
The groundbreaking ceremony for Silver Creek High School took place last Friday, August 12. The $100 million project will include extensive renovations including new classrooms, new laboratories, a new student union, a new main entrance, an expanded cafeteria and a new auditorium.
A new development, The West, is currently under construction in East end Louisville. This new, 72,000 square foot multi-purpose office building offers flexible floor plans, meeting spaces, and an upscale lounge. Shrout Tate Wilson is proud to be working on another project off Old Henry Road!
The groundbreaking ceremony for the new Charles Young Splash Park was held Monday May 2, 2022. Named “Splash!”, the water park will be a nature-inspired splash pad with strategic design inspired from the natural landscapes of Kentucky.
